Winnie Thomson

Poem from poem

The bones,
the womb (my pocket).
My hand,
a wave.

Nothing is a body,
or the heart of it.
I cannot-

knowing that at my death-moment
a house which is the
centre of the world is
a moment that swallows my self-
and breathing, to make a way
or a mere eye.
