Ruth Carneson

Tomorrow never comes

Tomorrow never comes
I said to the devil standing at my door,

A loan shark
my credit cards cut up

The wind is in my mouth, chew
crunch the wind, put it on ice,

In my garden spiky pineapples
fall off trees

Crunch the wind
put it on ice

Tomorrow never comes
I said to the devil standing at my door
